Bono and The Edge helped deliver a special live rendition of Darlene Love’s “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home” this week. The U2 band members teamed up with some other musicians for a holiday episode of Ireland’s “Late Late Show.”
Friday night’s show of the Irish late night talk show celebrated the annual Christmas Eve busking that goes on at Dublin’s Grafton Street to benefit homeless charities. Bono and The Edge performed U2’s “Walk On,” and also teamed up with Philip Powell, violinist Vivienne Long and the Heyday Choir for an acoustic version of Darlene Love’s holiday tune.
Besides Bono and The Edge, the festive late night special featured performances by Shane MacGowan, Glen Hansard and more Irish musicians. Check out the performance below.
