Adoption Listing for Demonic Chihuahua Goes Viral

We all want to see a dog go to a loving home, but not all animals are perfect for everyone. Well one foster mom is trying to find a forever home for a Chihuahua and is being brutally honest about what to expect, causing the listing to quickly go viral.

New Jersey’s Tyfanee Fortuna recently shared an adoption call on Facebook, which featured a less than glowing description of her foster dog, Prancer, who she calls a “'neurotic, man hating, animal hating, children hating dog that look like [a gremlin].” Tyfanee says she’s tried to make Prancer sound “palatable,” but adds, “the problem is he’s just not.” She says she believes there is someone out there for Prancer, but she’s not it, noting, she and her family “live in the grips of the demonic Chihuahua hellscape he has created in our home.”

“Prancer came to me obese, wearing a cashmere sweater, with a bacon egg n cheese stuffed in his crate with him. I should have known in that moment this dog would be a problem,” she wrote. “He was owned by an elderly woman who treated him like a human and never socialized him.”

Tyfanee insists that Prancer would only be good for a single woman, a lesbian couple or a mother and daughter household, since he hates men, other animals and children. She does say Prancer has some good qualities though, sharing he “takes his job of protection seriously,” adding he “offers better protection than Capitol security.” She also notes, “'He is loyal beyond belief, although to tell you a secret his complex is really just a facade for his fear,” adding, “he’s only 2yrs old and will probably live to be 21 through pure spite.”

Tyfanee’s brutal description has since gone viral, and has been reshared over 44,000 times, with some people actually interested in Prancer. “I love him and wish he was mine,” one person shared, while another, “Stop this sounds like my dream dog.”
