Ed Sheeran and Courteney Cox recently teamed up to do “The Routine” from “Friends.” Well, now they're given another “Friends”-inspired performance, and enlisted some A-list pals.
Ed just shared the new clip in which he’s joined by Courteney on piano, as well as Brandi Carlile on guitar and none other than Elton John, who sing Elton’s “Tiny Dancer,” but with the lyrics Lisa Kudrow’s character Phoebe thought Elton was singing.
In it they sing, “Hold me closer Tony Danza,” with Ed starting the performance by saying “Lisa Kudrow, this is for you.” Courteney also shared the video, noting, ""One of the greatest moments of my life. This one’s for you Lisa Kudrow."
And Lisa was quick to respond to the very special video, sharing it was "the most thrlling thing ever," but added that they didn't actually get it right because Phoebe originally sang, "hold me close young Tony Danza," noting, "but what you did was great too." Check it out below
