Several festivals, and artists are announcing COVID protocols for concerts, and now a promoter has decided to set some of their own.
AEG, which owns clubs and theaters across the country, as well as festivals like the Firefly Music Festival , The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Coachella Music & Arts Festival, just announced they will be requiring proof of vaccination to attend their venues.
The policy will go into effect starting October 1st, and those who aren’t vaccinated will need a negative COVID test within 72 hours in order to attend a show. The protocols also go for any staff at those events or in company offices.
- And AEG isn’t the only promoter revealing COVID protocols. Live Nation already announced that they will leave it up to the artists to decided whether they will require vaccinations or COVID tests to attend shows.
