Some big name musicians will be in New York this weekend to help the Big Apple celebrate its reopening following the pandemic. “WE LOVE NYC: The Homecoming Concert produced by New York City, Clive Davis and Live Nation” is going down tomorrow in Central Park, and will air on CNN.
The concert will feature performances by Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Jennifer Hudson and Patti Smith, along with Andrea Bocelli, LL Cool J, Kane Brown, Elvis Costello, Earth, Wind and Fire, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Cynthia Erivo, Wyclef Jean, Journey, the Killers, Barry Manilow, Polo G and Rob Thomas with Santana. Several artists are expected to come together for collaborations.
Other famous names taking part include Jimmy Fallon, Don Lemon, and Gayle King.
About 6,000 fans are expected to be on hand to catch the show, although all attending will have to show proof of vaccination or of a negative COVID test.
