We now know a little more about Bruce Springsteen thanks to Stephen Colbert. In case you missed it, Bruce sat down to answer 16 questions from the “Late Show” host as part of his “The Colbert Questionert” segment, and now we have a little more insight into the man known as The Boss.
Revelations include that Bruce’s favorite sandwich is a Peanut Butter & Jelly at 3 am with a glass of milk, he prefers apples to oranges, and he likes those apples with peanut butter. His favorite scent is his wife Patti Scialfa, and his favorite action movie is “Vanishing Point.” Asked whether there is value in exercise, he simply replied, “I’m 72,” and if he could listen to only one song for the rest of his life it would be Frank Sinatra’s “Summer Wind.”
As for what happens to us when we die, Bruce responded, “Okay, individual consciousness, adios,” but, he continued, “our souls and our spirits I think grow and live on with the people that we’ve loved and who’ve loved us. And with people we’ve had impact on with our work or in our daily experience.”
Finally, when asked to describe the rest of his life in five words The Boss replied, “Damn, what a (bleeping) ride.”Check out the video below.
