Elton John has landed a new chart milestone. The singer’s latest single, “Cold Heart (Pnau Remix),” featuring Dua Lipa, lands at seven on the “Billboard” Hot 100 this week, making it his 28thTop 10 single.
The track is now Elton’s first return to the Hot 100 in almost 24 years. He was last on it in October, 1997 when “Candle in the Wind”/”Something About the Way You Look Tonight” went to number one (his ninth number one).
With 28 Top 10 singles, Elton ties Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder for the seventh-most Hot 100 Top 10s. Drake still holds the record with 54. He is also the 10thact to have Top 10 singles in four distinct decades: the 1970s, ’80s, ’90s and 2020s
