Comedy legend Betty White would have been 100 years old today, January 17th. In honor of her memory, animal shelters across the country are asking you to take the Betty White Challenge and make a donation to help animals find there "furever homes."
As you may know, an organization that I love is the Providence Animal Rescue League. They are an amazing no-kill shelter located on Elbow St. in Providence, and they find homes for about 1,000 animals a year, including dogs, cats and "smallies"(rabbits, guinea pigs, etc). PARL also helps the community by hosting a pet food pantry and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics. Even a small donation of $5 helps them continue their important work, so I hope you can make a contribution today.
