On Groundhog Day 2022, Punxatawney Phil saw his shadow, signaling six more weeks of winter. There are a few other Groundhog Day prognosticators in the U.S., including Malverne Mel, who has been predicting the spring timeline in the Long Island hamlet of Malverne for decades.
