Elton John’s annual Oscar party is returning with some A-list talent. After going virtual last year due to COVID, the annual viewing party is returning in person. The event, put on by Elton and husband David Furnish, will go down on March 27th in West Hollywood Park, and will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The night’s entertainment will be Brandi Carlile, with additional performers to be announced in the coming weeks.
Elton notes, “David and I are so grateful to celebrate 30 years of the foundation and especially grateful to Brandi Carlile and the many fabulous guests supporting us for another magnificent night in West Hollywood Park.”
“Getting to perform for such a significant milestone of one of the most legendary Oscar parties is an absolute honor,” Brandi shares. “I’m looking forward to celebrating Hollywood’s big night with close friends and supporters of the Elton John AIDS Foundation and helping bring awareness to an incredibly important cause.”
- As for whether Elton will be there, it’s looking unlikely since his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour hits Lincoln, Nebraska on that date.
