Tears For Fears' brand new album is as hit for the group. The record, “The Tipping Point,” debuts at eight on the “Billboard” 200 album chart, their first Top 10 record in 30 years.
Tears for Fears moved, 31,000 equivalent album units, 29,000 of which are in traditional album sales, which makes it the top selling album of the week.
“The Tipping Point” is the band’s first new album since 2004’s “Everybody Loves A Happy Ending.” The last time they were in the Top 10 was with 1989’s “The Seeds of Love,” which peaked at eight.
