Sir Paul McCartney may be up for another big honor in England. "The Sun" claims the Beatle is being considered for a peerage, which would make him Lord Paul instead of Sir Paul.
The honor is expected to happen ahead of McCartney’s upcoming 80th birthday this summer, recognizing him for his musical achievements and service to British culture.
Should it happen, McCartney will be one of only a few artists to receive such an honor. Others include Andrew Lloyd Webber, the late composer Benjamin Britten and late violin virtuoso Yehudi Menuhin.
