The Rolling Stones are celebrating their 60th anniversary and the BBC will mark the occasion with a new special.
The four-part “My Life as a Rolling Stone,” will consist of hour-long films focusing separately on members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts. Each episode will include unseen footage and stories from the band. Watts, who died last August, will be remembered by his bandmates, peers and more.
The series is expected to premiere on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer this summer, which coincides with their actual anniversary. Their first official gig took place on July 12, 1962 at London’s Marquee Club.
