Foreigner is doing their part to help those affected by the war in the Ukraine. The rockers raised more than $100,000 for the American Red Cross for their Ukrainian relief efforts.
The group raised the funds during their three-week residency at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas last month. They donated $5,000 from each show, and offered hand-signed autographed guitars for any concertgoer who donated $1,000 or more to the organization.
“The plight of everyone impacted by this conflict is an international tragedy…Our goal is to offer some solace or small comfort to traumatized people in the region,” Foreigner’s Mick Jones shares. “I could think of nothing more American than a gesture of such brotherly love to those who are feeling so displaced and alone in this world right now."
