Song #443 on our Countdown of the Top 500 Songs of the 80s: This fun classic was a huge success for the Weather Girls in 1982. Amazingly, the catchy song only rose to #46 on the Billboard singles chart, but was #1 on the Dance chart. The song was written by Paul Shaffer, the longtime band leader for Late Night with David Letterman.
