U2's Vegas Residency Announcement: U2 took full advantage of one of the most-watched shows on Earth. The Irish rock band dropped the news about a new Las Vegas residency during last night’s Super Bowl.
On the heels of frontman Bono’s memoir, “Surrender,” and the group’s upcoming album “Songs of Surrender,” U2 has confirmed they will launch a stay at Las Vegas’ MSG Sphere. "Stereogum" admits details are still unclear, but the group confirmed what they call a “multi-show residency.”
The website devoted to the residency has been updated with a video for "Achtung Baby Live At The Sphere," and details on how fans can be the first to get more details about the shows when they're released.
