Four and a half years after hitting 1 Billion Views on YouTube, and just over 13 years after being uploaded onto the site, a Guns ‘N Roses song has hit the 2 Billion Views mark. “November Rain” becomes the first ‘90s rock video to pass this mark, which it accomplished late Tuesday night.
“November Rain” also holds the top spot for most-viewed hard rock video on YouTube. However, LinkinPark is giving them a run for their money. The band’s hit, “Numb,” is right on their heels with just under 2 billion views as of this writing.
In other Guns ‘N Roses news, Blabbermouth reports that the legendary rock band is throwing its hat into the NASCAR circuit. The group has announced they will sponsor driver Erik Jones in this weekend’s Daytona 500. Roses follows in the footsteps of other rock groups who have sponsored cars, such as KISS, Green Day and Nickelback.
