Foreigner’s upcoming farewell tour has kicked up a lot of speculation about which former members will return. And lead singer Kelly Hansen confirms that he is all for a reunion during the tour later this year- even his predecessor.
Lou Gramm, who led the band from 1976-2003 (with a two year absence beginning in 1990), doesn’t have a history of being too kind about Hansen or his presence. Last year, Gramm accused Hansen of “mimic(ing) my style right down to the ad libs.” Hansen responded he’s only trying to be true to the band’s style.
But Hansen says Gramm would also be welcome to rejoin the band before they hang it all up. "The door is always open to all the original members,” says the current frontman. “All the surviving members of the band to come and play with us.”
