if you were lucky enough to grow up within walking or bicycling distance from Mr. Lemon on Hawkins St. in Providence, I'm sure you have many memories of grabbing a frozen lemonade with your friends on a hot summer day. Even if you don't live nearby, you may remember piling the family into the car to enjoy an awesome Rhode Island tradition.
Now, after almost 50 years in business, owners of the Wanskuck neighborhood institution say it's time to slow down and cut back to just three days a week. They will now be open just Friday-Sunday, 12pm to 7pm.
