Foreigner frontman Kelly Hansen recently got a little spicy that his band has never made it to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, even though they’ve been eligible for 20 years. Now another (former) bandmate seems to share the anger, and he’s spilling the beans about why that may be.
“It’s not anything to do with our music or the amount of hits or notoriety or anything like that,” assured former singer Lou Gramm, who rocked with the band for their most successful years. “It’s a personal thing that we’re not in there.” Gramm managed to keep one party anonymous, but he alleges guitarist Mick Jones has an ongoing grudge with “the gentleman who owns ‘Rolling Stone.’”
“It’s very juvenile, the whole thing, and I don’t think it’s gonna get any better,” admitted Gramm. And what’s worse for Foreigner fans who want their group to get their due, Gramm doesn’t think “it’s gonna get any better.”
