As Peter Gabriel prepares to release his new, lunar-inspired album “i/o” sometime later this year, he has not diverted from his release plan: a new single per new full moon. And this past weekend’s full moon was no exception.
The British singer dropped “This Is Home,” which he calls “a love song.” “It began with inspiration from some of the great Tamla Motown rhythm sections,” said Gabriel. “So we’re trying to recreate that in a modern way.”
Joining the singer on this single is the Swish male choir Orphei Drängar. “I think they get a fantastic sound, it’s dark, stirring and emotional,” praised Gabriel.
