Former Van Halen lead singer David Lee Roth has dropped a solo track that he originally recorded in 2007. “Manda Bala” is a collab with guitarist John 5 and appeared in Roth’s online show “The Roth Project” in 2020.
“I’m just so happy that I had that cool working vibe with Dave,” admitted John 5. “And I’m very lucky, ‘cause not a lot of people get a chance to do that with Dave.” The guitarist played on Roth’s 1998 album “DLR Band,” which launched his career. The release of “Manda Bala” has fans wondering if the duo’s other unreleased songs, “Giddy-Up!,” Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bar And Grill,” “Alligator Pants,” and “Lo-Rez Sunset” will also be unveiled soon.
