A Teenager Made A Bold Statement Against School Dress Codes

A teenager in Kansas is making a bold statement against school dress codes because of an incident involving her 13-year old sister.

Isabella Villegas's little sister Grace bought the above top with her own money, and wore it to school the next day thinking it would be okay with the school dress code, as it's obviously not revealing at all.

Grace noticed a few negative looks from teachers, and even got some comments, but didn't get a formal dress-code violation.  Even so, she was uncomfortable with the comments, and felt like she needed a change of clothes.

After hearing about her sister's day, 18-year old Isabella made a white t-shirt with the following message for her sister if they ever asked her to change clothes at school:

Dress Code:

-Promotes the objectification and sexualization of young bodies

-Blames the wearer for the onlooker's perceptions/actions

-Perpetuates rape culture

-Is BS

Twitter has reacted, mostly with an outpouring of support for the sisters.

So what do you think? Was the little sister's shirt a dress code violation? I don't have a daughter, but if I did I don't think I'd be upset by her choice.  Seems to be perfectly fine - not low cut or revealing or anything like that.

What do you think of the shirt that Isabella made?

I personally LOVE it <3
