Here's the deal:
Tim Gurner, one of Australia's mega millionaires, did an interview with 60 Minutes... he gave some advice about how young people can purchase their first home... some of it made sense... ( the part about saving as much as humanly possible ) then it took a weird turn about avocado toast...
Now... personally I agree with the sentiment of the the statement... save every penny you can... however I find it hard to find to imagine avocados so lavish and expensive that by eating them with toast it's going to prevent you from affording your first house lol...
And the twitter universe CLEARLY agrees... they fired back some pretty funny stuff...
