To be fair I may be a bit biased. Ryan Reynolds is in my top 5 celeb crushes right below Idris Elba and Huge Laurie, so I tend to be a big fan of just about all of this movies however this one really looks like it could really check all the movie boxes.
Handsome man and leading lady? Check.
Funny one liners? Check.
Action? Check.
Sweet love story? Check.
Goofy bad guy? Double check!
Essentially, we follow Ryan Reynolds character, Guy, around a video game world where he falls in love, learns he's a video game character and hilarity ensues.
I mean even the video teasing the trailer is goofy!
In addition to Reynolds you can look forward to seeing the acting stylings of Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi and boy do they look like they work well together.

While the movie was originally slated to hit theaters July 3rd 2020, it looks like their new release date is set to be Dec 11th 2020.
So if you'll excuse me I'll be over here waiting patiently praying the virus chills out by then.
