When you think of rescue animals it's normal to think of dogs, cats, bunnies, maybe even the occasional horse or farm animal but an emu? Fortunately Karen the emu found just the place!
Karen first came to the animal sanctuary after being in an unknow situation she was having a rough time trusting her rescuers. She would spend her days hissing and avoiding contact with people at all costs. Fortunately for Karen she wasn't the only emu in town. And a fellow bird was able to take her under her wing and show her just how sweet humans can actually be.
Eventually Karen came around to seeing just how good her rescuers could be and eventually turned into the snuggliest emu around.
