When I came across this story I immediately thought of Clifford The Big Red Dog!
Now this little guy might not be red nor did he grow up to be a giant house sized friend but his story really did remind me of that!
He started out super small, about the size of little potato then all of sudden he ended up being a ball old ball of energy and lumps.
