Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE Tom Hardy, but the man has a lot on his plate!
An older interview of Huge Jackman has resurfaced this week in light of the X-Men franchise coming to new terms with the Fox/Disney merger incorporating the characters into the Marvel universe. In the interview was asked who he would like to replace him as Wolverine should the movies continue being filmed.
Huge Jackman responded, "That's a great question. I haven't given it a lot of thought. I've been asked the question a lot and I'm always like, 'I don't want to make it too easy on the studio to replace me.'
"I've still got one more to do. I'm sure they're already talking about it, that some actor out there they've already said, 'Shhhh... Keep it quiet but we want you next.'
"He's younger than me for sure, I think Tom Hardy would be great."
That being said, since the interview Tom has moved on to a different roll in the Marvel/Sony universe as Venom, which happens to have a sequel coming out later this year. Fans on the other hand still think he can do it! Check out the full article below!
