This lady is beyond fortunate the worst that happened to her was loosing her job. Spider monkeys don't mess around.

It's crazy to me that some people would feel the need to encroach upon a wild animals space, even if that space is designed for people to come and observe them, like a zoo. Wild animals are wild animals and monkeys may look cute and sweet, but as my grandma will tell you, anything with teeth can bite!

A woman has lost her job and is facing charges from the El Pazo Zoo after a video gained notoriety featuring the woman climbing into the Spider Monkey habitat in an attempt to feed the monkeys.

In the video posted below in the Today Show article, you can clearly see the woman under the monkeys waterfall attempting to hand feed the animals, then she scurries back to her friends who help lift her out of the enclosure.

What on Earth this woman was thinking I haven't a clue, but the ramifications of her actions will hopefully be enough to prevent her from making a mistake like that again.
