Thank heavens these fire fighters acted so quickly! Over the weekend a multi unit fire broke our in Fall River displacing over 25 people currently being assisted by the red cross.
According to NBC 10 WJAR, "Twenty-five people were receiving assistance from the Red Cross Saturday after fire burned through a multi-unit building in Fall River.
Flames broke out on the corner of Bradford Avenue and Almond Street at about 6:30 p.m.
“We just saw fire and smoke coming from the right side of the building,” tenant Vanessa Rivera said.
Rivera lives with her family and pet birds on the first floor. She was outside cooking on the grill when the fire broke out"
