BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- It's a busy night for Boston sports fans.
The Bruins will try for a 2-0 conference semifinals lead when they drop the puck in Tampa for Game 2 at 7 p.m.
Patrice Bergeron's line had 11 points in the opener and his group's totaled 41 points in Boston's five wins.
"I'm happy when we're able to do that, and we'll obviously try to keep that going," he said. "But a good defense is also a good offense, and we're going to make sure we tighten up some areas in our defensive zone coverage."
Bergeron's line hasn't scored in three losses.
At 8 p.m., we've got Game 1 of Round 2 between the Celtics and Sixers. It's a rivalry that once featured Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Julius Erving, Bob Cousy, and Billy Cunningham.
Now, Al Horford, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, and Ben Simmons.
Ersan Ilyasova knows it's tough to win at the Garden.
"When you go to Boston, you will feel it," he said. "Even when you're doing the regular season, when you play there, the arena's full, and you know, really committed fans."
Jaylen Brown's doubtful for the opener.
Plus, the 20-and-7 Red Sox will host the 7-and-20 Royals at 7:10 p.m. at Fenway. Eduardo Rodriguez will oppose Jason Hammel.
The Sox are the fifth team since 1913 with at least 20 wins by May 1st.
