A new pharmacy in Providence is a throwback to simpler times. Green Line Apothecary on North Main Street will take you on a trip down memory lane! Ken Procaccianti and his wife decided to re-create the classic American drugstore, with personalized customer service. In fact they’ll deliver your prescription to your home for free in one of their cool, green, antique vans! But it’s more than just a drugstore…this is a place to hang out and relax! Their new store even has a 40s-style soda fountain and they'll serve up tons of classic drinks including made to order soda, ice cream, floats and shakes. Also old timey favorites like lime rickeys, raspberry phosphates and egg creams! Ken says, "Everything we serve has real ingredients in it. The soda is mixed by hand." Maybe you’ve already visited Green Line Apothecary’s other store in Wakefield, that’s been around for a couple of years, but looking forward to the grand opening of the Providence location! They’re gonna have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 18!
