Critics Are Mixed On The New Live Action "Aladdin."

One of our favorite Disney movies is being brought to life, and we're a little unsure about it. The new live action version of "Aladdin" hits theaters today, and it stars Will Smith as the genie. The story is the same...young Aladdin finds a genie in a lamp, and falls in love with a princess, but this new version is quite a bit longer. The original animated "Aladdin" was 90 minutes long...the new "Aladdin"...128 minutes. Critics are mixed...it's got 59% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Tom Santilli from Movie Show Plus said, "This is something that no one wished for." Adam Graham of the Detroit News said, "The few light laughs aren't enough to justify awakening the Genie. But he's out, and it's too late now to stuff him back in the lamp." On the flip side, Rebecca Murray of Showbiz Junkies is a fan. She says, "The musical numbers are spectacular, the costumes are stunning, and the CGI work is flawless." See what you think, check out the trailer!
