Remember the movie The Dark Crystal...Jim Henson and Frank Oz's movie from 1982? The fantasy, puppet series is being turned into a series on Netflix called The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
Visually it looks amazing! We can expect some of the same puppet characters, the elf-like Gelflings and the vulture-like Skeksis are back, updated with modern CGI imagery. The series premieres on Netflix on August 30th, 2019.
