Rest in Peace Ric Ocasek!

We're still shocked by the news that The Cars lead singer Ric Ocasek passed away Sunday. He was found unresponsive in his home in New York City by his estranged wife Paulina Porizkova. Officials say he died of natural causes.

The Cars, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, had several massive hits in the 70s and 80s including "Just What I Needed," "My Best Friend's Girl," "Drive," "Good Times Roll," "Shake It Up" and loads of others. And The Cars won the first-ever MTV Video of the Year award in 1984 for their hit song "You Might Think." It was one of the first videos to use computer graphics, and featured Ric and the band along with model Susan Gallagher as he basically stalked her in different scenes. His trademark sunglasses appear on a submarine periscope in her bathtub, his head on a fly's body, and even Ric as King Kong on the Empire State Building.
