Happy Birthday Charlie Brown! Our favorite blockhead turns 69, as The Peanuts comic strip debuted on this date in 1950. The popular strip, created by Charles Schultz, ran until 2000 in over 2600 papers in 75 countries! Of course we love all of those Charlie Brown TV specials and movies with Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Woodstock and all the rest. Poor Charlie Brown, could never catch a break...or kick that football! Although he did eventually get a kiss from the little red-haired girl! The Halloween episode, It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is my personal favorite. What's yours?
