The Philadelphia Flyers Open a "Rage Room" at Wells Fargo Center

Sports fans can be very passionate! A not so good showing by your favorite team or a bad call by the refs can be enough to send you into a rage. The Philadelphia Flyers have a new place for fans to get their anger out while they're at the game. They've just opened a "rage room" at Wells Fargo Center, and it's the first of it's kind in the US! Officially it's called the "Disassembly Room," and in there are TVs, dishes, guitars and other items that angry fans can trash to vent some of those emotions before heading out to the parking lot. It's a safe place to take a sledgehammer to a TV or smash plates with a hockey stick, and not bring that anger out to the car where real problems and arguments can begin. It's also set up so other people can watch what's going on inside the "rage room." Valerie Camillo, president of business operations for the Flyers and the Wells Fargo Center said, "The concept is definitely one-of-a-kind and non-traditional. We ran the concept by some of our fans who told us they thought this would be a fresh way to have some harmless fun." The Flyers' home opener is tonight so the new Disassembly Room will be open for destruction for the first time.
