Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you to all of our teachers who are working extra hard this year during the Covid 19 crisis! Distance learning and homeschooling have shown parents what a difficult job teachers do every day, and right now lots of educators are helping to make this time less stressful. Some are mailing arts and crafts kits and at home science kits to students, also holding neighborhood parades!
If you want to thank your teacher with something special, consider sending a gift card to a coffee shop. A gift card to an office supply store or craft store is also a great idea since so many teachers buy school supplies for the classroom with their own money. Flowers, plants and care packages are a fun idea too! Or have your child make something like a card or a drawing. They can even record a fun video greeting! You don't have to spend money to show your appreciation!
