Yesterday there was a block party going on outside Cherry Hill Manor Nursing Home in Johnston! Local DJ "Eddie the Fixer" brought along some tunes, and partied (at a distance) with the residents and staff! He was out in front of the building "dropping the beats" playing music, shouting out happy birthday greetings and cheering up the residents who haven't been able to have visitors in months because of the Covid-19 pandemic. He played all kinds of music from the 70s and 80s, plus some current dance hits. Eddie even threw in some old Italian favorites, and they loved it! The party was such a hit, they've asked him to come back again soon, and he's been approached by other facilities as well. Eddie says he believes, "music and laughs is the best thing for the soul." We couldn't agree more Eddie! Eddie called into our show this morning, have a listen!
