Movie theaters in Rhode Island are back open again...Showcase Cinemas, Cinemaworld too. And there are some new movies opening today! There's The New Mutants, the final chapter in The X-Men series starring Maisie Williams a.k.a. Arya from Game of Thrones. There's also the long awaited Bill & Ted: Face the Music starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter (who hasn't done any acting in 20 years!) The original came out in 1989, those dopey guys were in high school back then, so we'll find out if their middle aged selves have smartened up at all. Now they have kids and have to be...gasp...role models!
Are the reviews Excellent? Pretty decent actually. 79% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes give the film a thumbs up! One thing's for sure...Bill and Ted will be sorry they time traveled to 2020! Check out the movie in theaters and on Video On Demand today.
