Couple Has Cool Idea For Socially Distanced Trick or Treating!

What is Halloween gonna look like this year? Many say we should skip going door to door collecting candy because of the pandemic. In fact, Los Angeles County officials and the LA Department of Public Health went so far as to ban the activity in the guidelines on their website. They've since revised that to say trick-or-treating is "not recommended." However, a new survey finds that parents and kids definitely do not want Halloween to be cancelled. According to the survey by the National Confectioners Association, 80% of the general public say they can’t imagine Halloween without candy and trick-or-treating.

And 63% say they hope to find a fun and safe ways to celebrate the holiday. This couple had a creative idea for socially distanced trick-or-treating. The YouTube channel Wicked Makers built a skeleton slide out of PVC to safely send candy and treats down a tube into the bags of visiting kids! They used a skeleton for their slide, but you can customize yours however you want!
