John Oates Debuts New Concert Album "Live in Nashville"

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Oates, half of the best-selling duo in rock history Hall & Oates, just released a new live album called John Oates & The Good Road Band "Live in Nashville." It was recorded in January at The Station Inn.

This album definitely has a different feel from the music he performed with Daryl Hall as Hall and Oates. It’s more of a bluesy, Americana style, and many of the songs are from the 20s and 30s. Like “Sittin’ on Top of the World” from 1930, Jimmy Rogers’ 1932 classic, “Miss the Mississippi and You,” and the song “Anytime” from way back in 1924.

His band includes some fantastic Nashville musicians, including Sam Bush, Russ Pahl (Dan Auerbach), Guthrie Trapp, Steve Mackay, Nate Smith (Kacey Musgraves) and Josh “Daddy” Day.

The album is available now on all streaming platforms, and will be available soon on CD through Amazon.
