Lots of people have lost their jobs to Covid-19. Could Santa lose his gig at the mall? Well he may not lose it completely, but it's sure to be different this holiday season. The pros at HireSanta.com predict that their business could be down by between 25 and 40-percent!
Right now they're waiting on malls and stores to work out the logistics of how kids can visit with the big guy. They're open to all kinds of socially distanced get togethers. Maybe kids could even have a Zoom call with Kris Kringle!
Santa's helpers can make some serious cabbage leading up to Christmas. Some rake in as much as $10-thousand in a season!
I'm sure no one but Mrs. Claus will be sitting on his lap, but he can still chat with kids through plexiglass. Kinda like the confessional at church...or prison on visitation day...anyway the kids can pass along their wish list.
Remember, Santa is in that high risk group so he has to be careful with his health as well!
