Trick-or-Treat Virtually With a New App!

Governor Raimondo has given us instructions on how to trick or treat safely this year, even thought the CDC has deemed it a high risk activity, but if you're still kinda nervous about heading out door to door, a new App called Treat Town helps you to Trick-or-Treat virtually and get real candy!

The Mars Wrigley Company, that make M&M's, Snickers, Skittles, Twix Starburst and other candies, created a new smartphone app called TREAT TOWN, that allows you to digitally trick-or-treat for candy credits.

On the app you choose whether you will be a trick-or-treater or a candy-giver. Candy givers buy virtual candy credits from Mars Wrigley, and hand them out to the virtual trick-or-treaters. You can allow just family and friends to open your virtual door, or let in anyone who's virtually trick-or-treating in your area to collect candy credits.

Trick-or-treaters collect those candy credits which can be turned in for real candy online or in stores. There's even a charitible aspect to this where you can "treat it forward" and give your candy credits to the Boys & Girls Club of America as a cash donation! CLICK HERE to download the app.
