Your Netflix Subscription Cost is Going Up!

Many of us have been binge watching shows and movies a lot more than normal in 2020. I've binged everything from Umbrella Academy and Schitt's Creek to The Haunting of Bly Manor and The Great British Baking Show on Netflix over the last several months, and soon we'll all be paying more for the streaming service. The company announced that while they'll leave the cost of their Basic plan at $8.99 a month, they'll increase pricing on both their Standard and Premium plans. The Standard plan will now cost you $13.99 a month, and the Premium, which I have because it allows up to 4 users, will jump up a dollar in price to $17.99 per month.

If you join Netflix now, you'll pay those higher prices immediately. For the rest of us who already subscribe, we can expect the cost to go up in the next few months.
