Not sure what NBC was thinking even creating a show like this. Did they really think folks were ready to laugh about the current events of 2020? The show "Connecting" is a comedy series about a group of friends who are social distancing, but try to stay in touch online through video meetups. Although several TV shows including "Grey's Anatomy" and "This is Us" have added the pandemic to their story lines, I don't think we're ready for a comedy about it. Although, "The Conners" has addressed it as well, so maybe this particular show is just really bad. Not sure, I haven't watched. Well it's going away with 4 episodes left un-aired.
