Wayne's World is back and exactly the same, except everyone is older and it's a Super Bowl ad. A lot of big companies have opted not to advertise during the big game this year including Coca Cola, Budweiser, GoDaddy and Hyundai, but some are still in the game shelling out $5 and a half million for a 30 second commercial. And one of those companies is Uber Eats, who I'm sure did pretty well in 2020 with all the restaurant delivery.
Uber Eats reunited Mike Myers and Dana Carvey for a Wayne’s World themed ad this year! The guys may look a little older, well Garth kinda looks the same, but they've donned the long wigs and cracking jokes. Never shy about selling out for paying sponsors (remember they poked fun at product placement in the movie,) in this Super Bowl ad they're telling people to "eat local" and use Uber Eats. There's even a special guest on Wayne's World, rapper Cardi B!
