I'm more of a visual person, so I don't like this idea at all. This year the Swedish furniture store IKEA is releasing their annual catalog as an audiobook for the very first time! No more flipping the pages and looking at all the modern furniture styles for your home, you'll have to use your imagination to picture what those desks and entertainment centers look like.
The 2021 IKEA catalog will now be available as an audiobook, and you can listen to product descriptions on YouTube, also at Audiobooks.com and on Spotify.
According to a statement from the company, "Not only does this catalog save on paper, it’s also contactless, convenient, and filled with style inspiration and vivid product descriptions for your listening pleasure.”
There are several different categories in the catalog focusing on different products in each including, “How to Organize Absolutely Everything," "How to Cook Up a Delicious Kitchen" and "Swim, Surf, Sleep Repeat!"
Now they need an audio book of how to put all that furniture together without having parts leftover!
