The Cadbury Bunny is getting more diverse! The winner of this year's competition is an Australian White's tree frog named Betty! For the past several years the candy company has been asking fans to enter their pets into the contest to be the Cadbury representative for Easter, and being a bunny is not a requirement. Previous winners have included a goat, a donkey, a miniature horse and last year's winner, Lieutenant Dan the two legged Coonhound from Ohio.
There were over 12 thousand entries into this year's contest, but Betty the Tree Frog was the big winner! Wearing her little bunny ears and hat, Betty will star in this year's Cadbury Creme Eggs commercial, and her family will receive $5000 in cash! Plus a nice $15,000 donation will be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
