Netflix is Testing Ways to Crack Down on Password Sharing!

You probably know someone who's sharing their Netflix password with family members or friends. Maybe that person is you! For a long time Netflix has turned a blind eye to the practice, but now they're starting to come up with ways to prevent people from doing it.

The CEO of the streaming company say they're working on some new ways to make sure that Netflix customers aren't sharing their passwords with others.

Reed Hastings said "we would never roll something out that feels like 'turning the screws,'" on people. He said they're looking for "that flexible approach to make sure that we are providing the plan with the right features and the right price points to meet those needs." Well these are people who are used to watching all those shows and movies for free, so I'm thinking any price point would be too high for them.

Netflix has to do something about password sharing though, because they're spending a ton of cash, around 17-billion dollars this year alone on new content. They definitely need to bring in more paying customers.
